Have you dreamt of dancing classical pas de deux, or do you simply need to refine your knowledge and skills with a partner? Our Summer Intensive will offer daily classes, basic partnering skills from classical ballet and contemporary techniques, as well as more complicated elements like lifts, turns and transitions. Our aim is to enable all dancers, no matter their gender or race, to experience dancing with a partner, and we feel like it’s a great chance to promote the beauty of Vancouver Island.

This year our guests, Vaclav and Lorenzo, come from the superb Semperoper Ballet in Dresden, Germany. Both are accomplished professionals with backgrounds in classical and contemporary repertoire. At the end of our Summer Intensive, dancers will have the chance to perform alongside our guests! See you in August!
